Entries: No purchase necessary. To be eligible you must be a high school senior, college/university student or planning to attend college within a year of filling out the web scholarship form. COSTEP is not responsible for lost, damaged or incomplete entries. Only one entry per person allowed. Duplicate entries may result in disqualification. Personal information updates may be made once per year and will be monitored via computer. By submitting your entry you agree to abide by the rules and decision(s) of COSTEP.
Award Claims:
Once a winner is selected, an award letter will be sent by COSTEP within 15 days to the address that appears on the application entry form. The winner is responsible to contact COSTEP within thirty days of the post mark of the reward claim letter. To claim the prize the winner must follow the instructions included in the reward claim letter. If the winner has not responded within 30 days of the post mark of the reward claim letter, the prize will be fortified and another winner will be selected. Proof of college/university enrollment and identification proof is required in order to be considered as a valid claim. If the winner is not enrolled at the time of winning, but is planning to attend within one year of winning, he/she must provide proof of college/university enrollment within one year from the date of winning in order to be considered a valid claim.
Check Process:
Upon receiving a valid claim for a scholarship award, a check will be issued to the winner and will be sent to the mailing address entered into the web scholarship form unless the winner provides a written request to send the check to a different address before the check is issued.
Award checks must be used at the time they are received and may not be reissued once the check expires.
Award checks are non-transferable.
About Rules:
These rules are subject to change at the discretion of COSTEP without prior notification. Anyone who fills out the Web Scholarship Form agrees to accept and abide by these rules and agrees to allow COSTEP to post his/her name on the COSTEP website if he/she is a Web Scholarship winner. Time and location for the web scholarship award drawings will be at the sole discretion of COSTEP. Web scholarship winners will be chosen randomly via computer. In an event of dispute, COSTEP’s decisions are final.
